SEED 2025 Application Process Guide

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has opened the registration process for SEED 2025, inviting applications to its B.Des and M.Des programs. The B.Des course application form was available as of August 16, 2024, and for M.Des, the same was available from August 14, 2024. Candidates can apply online for the SEED 2025 exam through the official portal of SID at sid.edu.in. The last date to submit the application form will be December 25, 2024. While applying, candidates have to register, fill in their details, upload documents and pay the application fee INR 3250 for the SEED 2025 exam. The candidates who complete the application process will only be issued admit cards; the SEED 2025 exam is scheduled for January 12, 2025. The SID application form is a must for admission to the 180 B.Des seats offered by participating institutes.

Steps to Fill SEED 2025 Application Form For the Indian Students

• The application form for SEED 2025 has to be filled online. The candidate has to ensure that only genuine and verifiable informationrmation is filled in the form. This is because all details will be verified at the time of counseling and seat allotment.
• In case of any discrepancy, the candidate may be disqualified.
• This way one can go through the stepwise procedure to successfully fill in the application form for the SEED exam.

Important Document Required for SEED Application Form

While filling out the application for the SEED exam, one should keep the following mentioned documents handy.

• Passport size photo in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format should not be more than 150 kb
• Marks of SSC
• Marks of HSC
• Date of Birth Certificate/ Class 10 Pass certificate
• Photo ID proof
• Caste certificate (if applicable)

Stepwise process to apply for SEED 2025 For the Indian Students

To fill out the SEED 2025 application form, do the following.

Step 1: Register for the SEED Exam

Candidates satisfying eligibility requirements have to click on the application link. Then click on 'New User? Register Now' tab. Go through all the Terms & Conditions carefully and then click on the 'I Agree' tab. Complete registration process.

Step 2: SEED application form filling process

After filling all the personal, professional, educational, and contact details, candidates need to submit an application form. Along with this, each candidate must upload his/her latest passport-size photograph which is not more than three months old in jpg, png, or gif format, having a size of between 10 and 150 kb.

The following are the major fields that are compulsorily to be filled in the application form.

Step 3: Application Fee

• The entrance registration fee for SEED is Rs. 3250/- (Rs. 2250/- for SEED & Rs. 1000/- for SID).
• The SEED 2025 application fee has to be paid online.

Step 4: Submission of Application Form for SEED Exam

Once all of the above steps are done, candidates will be sent an email confirmation which will contain their application number. It is to be noted that the SEED Admit Card would only be issued to those candidates who have received this email confirmation. In addition to this, candidates also have to register for admission in specific institutes of Symbiosis International University in which they want to get admission.

SEED 2025 Application Process for the International students

The International students for admissions at Symbiosis International (Deemed University) can get enrolled themselves through the Symbiosis Centre for International Education, SCIE. SCIE processes and facilitates the international students in applying through the process and provides support for smooth induction into SIU's academic programs.

Process of Application

1. Fill in Online Application Form: Begin the application process with filling an online application form at SCIE Website. Fill all the required details and educational background appropriately.
2. Document Upload: Upload the required documents, which may include academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, passport copy, and a statement of purpose. Specific document requirements can be found on the SCIE application portal.
3. Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee as specified during the application process.
4. Review and Admission Decision: The admission committee will review the submitted applications. If selected for the further process, candidates might have to take part in further assessment and interviews.
5. Offer Letter: Selected candidates will be offered a letter with the details of their program of admission along with all the relevant informationrmation.
6. Acceptance and Visa Processing: Candidates need to accept the offer and apply for the visa procedure with SCIE's assistance.
7. English Proficiency: International applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English. Accepted tests and minimum scores are detailed on the SCIE website.
8. Deadlines: Adhere to application deadlines specific to the chosen program. Late applications may not be considered.
9. Scholarships: SIU offers scholarships for international students. informationrmation on eligibility and application procedures is available on the SCIE portal.

Admission to B.Des programme of SID

Admission to the B.Des program at SID involves the following steps:

1. Step 1: Give SEED Exam
   Candidates need to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design, also known as SEED. Results will be announced on the SID website as scheduled. In case you clear the exam, Students can further proceed based on the specialisation opted during registration.
2. Step 2: Portfolio Upload
   Upload the portfolio on the portal at least one day before the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI). Check the portfolio guidelines by clicking the provided link.
3. Step 3: PRPI Task
   Complete the PRPI Task assigned. Candidates will receive this task three days before their scheduled PRPI. Upload the completed task on the portal a day before the PRPI.
4. Step 4: PRPI
   Attend the online Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI).

Final Selection:

Candidates’ final selection will be based on their combined performance in the SEED exam, portfolio review, PRPI task, and personal interaction, along with the informationrmation provided in the application and chosen specialization.
