King George's Medical University known as KGMU based in Lucknow, established in the year of 1911 as a premier medical university. It is also approved by the Medical Council of India and UGC. The University offers programs like UG,PG, Diploma and PhD programs. How to apply?
Follow the step-by-step admission procedure:
- Visit the Official website at https://www.kgmu.org/ , press the login/register button and login using the credentials.
- Enter the personal details like name, address and marks obtained etc followed by selection of course/program.
- After Filling the application form, submit the required documents like Scanned Passport, Signature, marksheets etc.
- Applications can be filled in online mode.
- Applicants are required to appear for the entrance test for eligibility.
- Application fee for general category is around 500/- INR, 250/- INR for reservation category.
- Print the application and keep it for future use.
KGMU Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility Criteria will differ for various programs. Under the UG program, for courses like MBBS, BSc, BDS, it requires candidates with a minimum of 45%-40% aggregate in a 10+2 equivalent higher qualifying exam recognised by related boards with relevant subjects and a valid NEET UG/KGMU Entrance test score. Also, for PG program, it requires candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate for general (45% for reservation candidates) in graduation with relevant discipline and a valid NEET PG/NEET MDS/KGMU Entrance Test score .For Phd program, it requires candidates with good merit in master degree and a valid KGMU Entrance Test score.
