Amrita University releases the eligibility criteria for the annual AEEE exam and the official exam notification. Candidates wishing to apply for the exam must examine the eligibility criteria before applying.
The AEEE exam 2025 is scheduled to take place in two phases. Phase 1 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in February 2025, while phase 2 will be held in May 2025 (tentatively). Candidates interested in appearing for the exam must fill out the AEEE application form.
To prepare well, aspiring candidates must have a look at the AEEE exam pattern as well. The examination covers three subjects: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The official syllabus for the same is available on the Amrita University website.
AEEE Eligibility 2025
Before applying for the AEEE exam, candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria for the same. The criteria include minimum age, educational qualification, minimum marks, and nationality. Here are the AEEE eligibility criteria for 2025 in detail:
- Age criteria: Candidates appearing for AEEE must be born on or after July 1, 2004.
- Educational qualifications: Candidates must have achieved a minimum aggregate score of 60% in their 12th grade with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as their primary subjects. Also, the candidate must have a minimum score of 55% for each subject.
- Nationality: Candidates appearing for AEEE 2025 must be citizens of India. However, foreign nationals are also eligible to apply for the AEEE exam.
- JEE Main Qualification: Candidates who have qualified for the JEE Main exam with a valid passing score are also eligible for admission to engineering programs at Amrita University.

How much is the AEEE Application Fee?
Candidates applying for the AEE exam must pay an application fee along with the form. The application fee is Rs. 1,200 for each category.
AEEE Application 2025: Documents Required
AEEE candidates must also submit some documents when submitting the application form. Here is the list of documents needed for registration:
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Scanned image of passport-size photograph (dimensions must be 3.5x4.5 cm)
- A scanned image of the candidate’s signature
AEEE Admit Card 2025
After applying, candidates will be eligible to download the AEEE admit card. The admit card will be released on the official website, amrita.edu. Candidates can download the AEEE admit card using their login credentials, such as login ID, password, and registration number.
