SKIT Jaipur: Admissions 2025 – Fees, Eligibility, Last Date & Process

Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan (SKIT) located in Jaipur, was established in 2000. The institute is affiliated to Rajasthan Technological University (RTU) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

At present, SKIT ranks #1 among the Top Engineering Colleges in Rajasthan (ranked by RTU). The engineering branches at SKIT, are accredited by both NBA and IE (I). And, thus, most of its programs are offered in engineering at all levels of degree programs.

Currently, B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. are offered for admissions to students. There is a 5% relaxation for students belonging to backward classes or having disability, but from Rajasthan only. The students can apply online for the respective entrance exams.

REAP Application Process

In the process of registering on REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) for counseling, the students must follow the below-given steps:

Registration:

• Visit the official REAP website.
• Complete the registration by providing basic personal details such as name, date of birth, and contact information.
• Create a unique user ID and password for future access to the application portal.

Fee Payment:

• Proceed to an e-Mitra kiosk center to pay the application fee.
• The fee structure is INR 700 for the general category and INR 705 for reserved categories.
• The kiosk will generate a 12 or 16-digit token number upon payment.

Accessing Application:

• Use the generated token number to log in to the e-Mitra portal.
• Enter the token number in the appropriate field to access your application form.

Filling the Application Form:

• Complete the application form with all required details, including personal, educational, and contact information.
• Ensure accuracy in all fields to avoid errors during processing.

Document Upload:

• Photograph: Upload a scanned image of your recent photograph in JPG format.
• Signature: Upload a scanned image of your signature in JPG format.
• Mark Sheets: Provide photocopies of your 10+2 mark sheets.
• JEE Main Scorecard: Include a photocopy of your JEE Main scorecard.
• Reserved Category Certificate: Upload a photocopy of the certificate if you belong to a reserved category.
• Fee Payment Receipt: Upload the receipt issued by the e-Mitra kiosk, which includes the Token Number/Transaction ID of payment made through Bill desk or Challan number.

Submission and Confirmation:

• Review all entered information and uploaded documents before final submission.
• Submit the application form online.
• Save or print a copy of the application confirmation for future reference.

Counseling Rounds:

• Round I: Reserved for candidates not belonging to Rajasthan, Ex-servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). This round will consider applications from these categories for available seats.
• Round II: Open to candidates belonging to Rajasthan. This round will allocate seats based on merit and preference for Rajasthan domicile students.
• Special Round (if required): If seats remain vacant after Round II, a special round of counseling will be conducted to fill these seats. This round will be open to all candidates who have applied.

Admission and Seat Allocation:

• Check the official REAP website or portal for counseling schedules and seat allotment results.
• If allocated a seat, follow the instructions for admission, which include document verification and fee payment at the allotted institution.

Reporting to Allotted Institution:

• Report to the allotted institution with original documents and a copy of the seat allotment letter.
• Complete the admission process by paying the requisite fees and fulfilling any other admission requirements.

SKIT Postgraduate Admission 2024

Programs like M.Tech and MBA which are full-time and 2 years long are offered at SKIT for postgraduate admissions. Read the following section for eligibility and selection criteria for admissions:

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit a Provisional Certificate Letter as per the format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or master's have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
