PAU Ludhiana: Admissions 2025 – Fees, Eligibility, Last Date & Process

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana is the oldest university in the field of Agricultural Education. It was established in 1962. The university offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in different specializations. Application forms can be filled online or can be obtained in person or by post.

Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by PAU Ludhiana followed by counselling to provide admission in B.Sc (Hons.) courses except for B.Sc (Architecture/ Fashion Designing).

Admission in B.Sc Architecture programme is obtained by passing a National Level Architecture Aptitude Test.

Admission to B.Sc Fashion Designing is done on the basis of Design Aptitude Test conducted at NID.

B Tech and Integrated M Sc admissions are also based on CET score except B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering, for which a valid score in JEE Main is required.

MET followed by an interview is conducted for M.Tech, MBA, MCA (Regular+Lateral), MJMC and M.Sc courses. The eligibility for admission into Ph.D. is based on the PAU Written Test and Interview. However, ICAR qualified candidates are directly eligible for an interview round.

PAU Ludhiana B.Sc and B.Tech Admission

PAU offers various undergraduate programs like B.Sc and B.Tech in various specializations. The candidates seeking admission in B.Sc (Hons.) have to appear in CET conducted by PAU except for B.Sc in Architecture and Fashion Designing. For B.Sc in Architecture, the candidates have to appear in AAT conducted by IITs.

PAU Ludhiana PG Admission: M.Tech, MBA. MCA, M.Sc & MJMC

At PG level, PAU offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc and MJMC in various disciplines. Besides regular courses, the university also offers MCA (Lateral Entry) and Integrated M.Sc.

The merit in MET conducted by PAU along with Interview provides admission to the program. In the case of M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS, admission is solely based on an interview round for selected candidates. All students who qualified in CET can opt for an Integrated M.Sc program.
