Kashmir University provides admissions to students under various levels provided the minimum criteria are met. The University of Kashmir admissions to the diploma programmes are done based on the previous qualifying examination scores. Admissions to the KU UG programmes and PG programmes are done based on the performance of the entrance test.
For Kashmir University admissions to the M.Tech programmes, valid GATE scores are needed, and for the M.Pharma programme the candidates should have obtained valid scores in the GPAT entrance examinations. Admissions to the Kashmir University Srinagar follow the reservation policy in admitting the students.
