Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University is a state university in Faizabad, Ayodhya district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 1975 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as an affiliating university. It was renamed in 1993-94 after Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, a socialist independence fighter, politician and freedom fighter who was associated with Dr. S.R. Lohia of Lucknow.
