WBJEE 2025 Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for WBJEE 2025:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India or OCI (subject to approval). OCI candidates are eligible for only unreserved seats in the All-India quota.
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed or be appearing in the 12th standard (10+2) or its equivalent examination.
- Age Restriction: The lower age limit is 17 years as of 31.12.2025. Candidates should have been born before 31.12.2007. There is no upper age limit, except for marine engineering courses, which have a limit of 25 years as of 31.12.2024.
- Qualification Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD).

The WBJEE exam pattern consists of three category, namely, Category I, Category II, & Category III. Each category carries 1 mark, 2 marks, & 2 marks, respectively.
