The eligibility criteria for UPSEE (UPCET) depends on the course that candidates are applying for. Below are the general eligibility criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate courses through UPCET;
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. NRI candidates and Foreign Nationals candidates can also appear in the entrance examination for certain seats reserved for them.
- Age limit: There is no age limit for Undergraduate courses but for admission to the first year of B.Arch, the candidates must have completed 17 years of age and there is on age limit for postgraduate courses.
For Undergraduate courses
- Provided Course: B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ B.Arch/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ B.Des
Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech/ B.Pharma: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects that are, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
- B.Arch: Candidates must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ B.Des: Candidates should have passed 10+2 equivalent examinations in any discipline.
For Postgraduate courses
- Provided Course: MBA/ MCA/ M.Tech/ M.Pharma
Educational Qualifications
- MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration from a recognised Institution.
- MCA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at the graduate level.
- M.Tech: Candidates must have a B.Tech/ BE degree or its equivalent in the relevant field.
- M.Pharma: Candidates must have a B.Pharm degree or its equivalent.
