Candidates can submit the application form only in online mode on the official website of the Authority. To fill the application form candidates are required to to fill the required information and upload the scanned documents in JPEG format.
To fill the application form candidates should follow the below mentioned steps.
How to apply
The process of filling the application form is completed on two parts:
- One time registration
- Filling of online application for the examination
Part- 1: One time registration
For one-time registration, click on “Register now” link provided in ‘Login’ section on the official website https://ssc.nic.in/ .
Candidates are required to fill these information
- Basic details
- Additional and contact details
- Declaration
For filling up the ‘One time registration form’, follow the below mentioned steps:
- Fill all the critical details including aadhar number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth and educational details etc.
- Enter the mobile number and email ID that will be verified through ‘One time password (OTP).
- Once all the sections are completed the registration number and password will be displayed on the screen and also provided to the candidate through the registered email ID and mobile number.
- Login to the portal using the registration number as username and auto generated password. Change the password, when prompted on first login.
- After the password is changed then candidates need to login again using the registration number and change password.
- Once login, the basic information will be displayed which is filled earlier. Candidates can edit it and click on next.
- Provided information about category, nationality and disabilities etc.
- Provided information about permanent address and present address. After providing all the information click on ‘Final submit’.
- Upon clicking ‘final submit’ different OTPs will be sent to the mobile number and email ID. Candidates need to enter the two OTPs at designated fields to complete the registration process.
Part- 2: Online application form
- Login to the portal through the ‘registration number’ and password.
- Click on ‘Apply’ link ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025’.
- Information will be filled automatically from the one-time registration, which is non-editable. If modify needed then click on ‘Modify registration’.
- Fill all the required fields with required information.
- Select ‘Yes’, if the candidate is applying for and possess the required educational qualification for the post and select yes.
- Upload the recent photograph and signature, the photograph uploaded above should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the notice of examination.
- Go through the declaration carefully and click on ‘I agree’ checkbox, fill up captcha code.
- Preview and verify the information which is filled. If the modifier is needed then click on “Edit/ Modify” button and make requisite corrections before proceeding further.
- After filling the application form, proceed to make fee payment. Fees can be paid online through BHIM UPI, net banking, Visa, Mastercard, maestro, RuPay credit or debit card.
- When an application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’ and status of the application will be indicated as “Application received”. Candidates should take printouts of the application form for their own records.

Document verification
All the candidates qualified for document verification are required to appear for document verification along with the photocopies and original documents, as mentioned below:
- matriculation/ secondary certificate
- Educational qualification certificate
- caste/ category certificate, if belong to reserved category
- Persons with benchmark disabilities certificate
- Relevant certificates if seeking any age relaxation
- For ex-serviceman:
- Serving defence personnel certificate
- Discharge certificate, if discharge from the armed forces.
