Those candidates who wish to appear in the REET 2025 examination should have checked the eligibility before applying for the application form. The eligibility criteria includes the education qualifications, age limit and document verification.
The eligibility criteria for REET 2025 are mentioned below
REET 2025 Age limit
The REET age limit for both of the levels is age. The lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is dependent upon the category of the candidates.
- For the general category the upper limit will be 40 years.
- For the SC/ST/OBC Category the upper limit will be 50 years.
- For Male EWS category the upper limit will be 45 years.
- For the Female EWS category the upper limit will be 50 years.
REET eligibility criteria for Level 1
- Passed or appearing candidates in 2-year of Diploma in elementary education or senior secondary with at least 50% marks.
- Passed or appearing candidates in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Secondary with at least 45% marks.
- Passed or appearing candidates in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education ( B.EI.Ed) or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks.
- Passed or appearing candidates in 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks.
REET eligibility criteria for Level 2
- Candidates should have graduated or appeared in the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Passed or appearing candidates in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) , Graduated and postgraduate.
- Passed or appearing candidates in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), and graduates with at least 45% marks.
- Passed or appearing candidates in the 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks.
- Passed or appearing candidates in the 4 years in BA/ BSc.Ed or BA.Ed/ BSc Ed or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks.
- Passed or appearing candidates in 1-year BEd (Special Education), Graduated and post-graduate with at least 50% marks.
