Entrance exam for PG medical courses like MD, MS, and allied health programs.

PGIMER Chandigarh’s MD/ MS admission entrance exam will be considered as PGIMER MD/MS. The MD/MS exam is conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi. As per the exam pattern, PGIMER MD/MS 2025 will be conducted in an online computer-based test mode. Students will have to answer a total of 200 objective types of questions. There will be both single and multiple correct choice-based questions. Each correct attempts carry +1 mark weightage. Incorrect answers will deduct 1/3rd (or -0.33) marks. The time limit allotted for finishing the exam will be 3 hours and the language of the paper will be English only.

Examination Mode

AIIMS, New Delhi conducts PGIMER examination every year in an online computer-test-based mode. Candidates will be allotted separate systems to appear for the exam at respective exam centers.

Examination Medium

INI CET 2025 examination will be conducted in a single language. Students will get the digital question paper in English language only.

Duration of Examination

The duration of PGIMER 2025 exam will be 3 hours (180 minutes). The paper will be divided into 4 parts. Each part will have 50 questions and will be 45 minutes long. Each of the four parts will appear one after one and will be automatically stopped at the 45-minute interval.
