KEAM, known as the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examination, is a state-level test held by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE). Through the KEAM 2025 exam, candidates can be admitted to various UG courses offered by the colleges approved by Central & State regulatory Universities and the Government.

KEAM also includes an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission and centralized counseling for undergraduate medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses.

KEAM 2025

A single admission procedure for admission to different UG courses at Kerala's colleges accredited by Central and State Regulatory Bodies, Universities, and Government is the Kerala Architecture, Engineering, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM). It is run by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. A KEAM centralized counseling process (CAP) and an entrance test under KEAM exist. Candidates must register, take the KEAM CBT exam, and appear in the CAP to be considered for admission to the UG engineering and pharmacy programs. However, candidates must register for the exam and appear in the centralized counseling process (CAP) with their applicable entrance exam scores (including NEET and NATA) for admission to be considered for admission to any other courses, which are medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, architecture courses and fisheries.

KEAM 2025 Application process

Applicants who want to apply for admission to any of the courses listed below.- Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Co-Operation & Banking, Climate change & environmental science, B.Tech Biotechnology, Forestry, Veterinary and Fisheries- should apply online on or before the last date. CEE will accept the application form 2025 in the online mode only. Candidates can apply for the entrance exam using the official website. Other state candidates can apply for the entrance test, but the admitting authority/university will stipulate the eligibility criteria and conditions.

How to apply for the KEAM 2025 Application Process?

Candidates are required to follow the steps to apply for KEAM 2025:

  1. Candidates have registered online on the official website of CEE Kerala.
  2. Candidates must provide their basic details and create an application number and password to register for the application form.
  3. To fill out the application form, candidates have to provide their personal details, educational, income, and reservation details in the application.

KEAM 2025 Eligibility

Candidates can check the course-wise KEAM eligibility criteria for 2025

  1. Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.
  2. Qualification: Students must have qualified for the class 12th examination to be eligible for the exam.
  3. Percentage: candidates must obtain a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying exam.
  4. Subject: appearing candidates should have Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects.
  5. Age criteria: to be eligible, applicants must be 17 years old.
  6. Appearing: applicants appearing in the final exam 2025 will also be eligible to apply.

For Architecture Course

  1. Qualification: Candidates should have passed a higher secondary or 10+3 diploma exam.
  2. Marks: students must obtain at least 50% aggregate marks in qualifying exams.
  3. Subject: one must have physics, chemistry, and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
  4. Score: Applicants should have a valid NATA score to be eligible.

KEAM 2025 Exam Pattern

Every year, KEAM is held in the offline mode, and it is pen-paper based. But this year, the exam pattern has changed. Instead of an OMR-based entrance exam, CEE Kerala might conduct a computer-based test.

  1. Exams will be held through computer based mode.
  2. Students will get 2 hours for each paper.
  3. The question paper will be piped into two parts as physics chemistry (Part 1) and Mathematics (Part 2).
  4. There will be 150 questions asked in the entrance exam.
  5. The KEAM question paper will consist of Multiple choice questions.
  6. For each correct answer, four marks will be given to candidates.
  7. For each incorrect answer, a mark will be deducted in the exam.

KEAM 2025 Admit Card

Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the University's official website. Candidates are required to enter their registered email ID and the password generated during registration. Candidates must carry a photocopy of the admit card and two passport-size recent color photographs at the exam center on the exam day.

KEAM Examination Venues

Entrance examinations will be held at the selected venue in all districts in the state, including Mumbai, New Delhi, and Dubai. Candidates who appear for the examination outside Kerala will have to exercise the option of an alternate center in the State of Kerala.

KEAM 2025 Result

The conducting body of the KEAM will release its result on the official website. Candidates can go through and check their percentile score and total marks. Those candidates who have qualified the examination will be eligible to appear in the counselling session.

KEAM 2025 Cut Off

The minimum rank applicants must achieve to be considered for admission to Kerala's participating colleges is known as the KEAM Cutoff. Following each round of Seat Allotment, the cutoffs which represent the final ranks applicants must achieve to be admitted are made public.

KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) 2025

The CAP will be done via the Single Window system (SWS) to give allotment to the courses, colleges under the engineering/ architecture/ pharmacy and medical streams state based on the options selected by the candidates who have been included in the rank list of the engineering/ architecture/ B.Pharm/ MBBS & BDS/ Medical & Allied and Ayurveda Course, prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. Below is the process of Allotments through online submission are listed:

Step 1: Candidates are required to log in to the website to register and fill out the choice of courses and colleges. After the counselling, candidates should have to pay the tuition fees through the epay facility.

Step 2: Candidates are required to report to the institute on the mentioned date and time allotted and carry all the necessary documents for the verification process.

Step 3: The seats allocation of the candidates is based on their merit, availability of seats and choice filling and the allotment letter will be given to the candidates. After the seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee before confirm their seats.
