GRE, known as The Graduate Examination, is required for take admission to graduate programs and graduate business programs globally. It is conducted every year. ETS administers it. The GRE is a multiple-choice, computer-based. Test maker ETS developed and administered this exam to provide graduate, business, and law schools with eligibility measures for candidates' qualifications and preparedness for graduate-level academic work. GRE 2025
The GRE measures candidates in Algebra, Geometry, Basic Arithmetic, and data analysis. It measures candidates' ability to analyze and evaluate written material, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
GREs are of two types: the GRE General Test and the GRE Subject Test. GRE General Test is a standardized test to measure the overall academic readiness of the candidates. This test evaluates candidates' analytical, writing, quantitative ability, and verbal reasoning skills. GRE Subject Test only extends to Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology. GRE 2025 : Exam Dates

ID Requirements
- Testing within your country of citizenship- passport with name, photograph, and signature.
- Testing outside your country of citizenship- they must have a valid passport with their name, photograph, and signature as their primary ID.
GRE 2025: Fee payment
Fees are stated in US Dollars, effective July 2023. GRE fee in India: the application fee for the GRE general test is Rs. 22,550 INR for Indian students; if candidates want to change the center or reschedule the test, they would be required to pay an extra fee or the same.

GRE General test.

The GRE General test can also be taken at home anywhere where the GRE test is usually available. The test is taken on their computer at home. The at-home test is identical in content, format, and on-screen test experience to the taken at a test center and is offered around the clock, seven days a week.

GRE 2025 Admit card

GRE Score
Candidates should log in to their GRE account using their credentials to check their GRE scores. The GRE total mark is around 340, whereas the GRE minimum score is 260.
The GRE test scores will be available in candidates' accounts on the GRE website 10-15 days after their test date. They will be sent to the universities or institutes of their choice within three weeks of their test dates.
