CA Foundation exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Previously, the exam has been named as CA-CPT. ICAI CA Foundation exam is conducted three times every year on a national level. The degree is recognized as an equivalent one with the postgraduate curriculum as per UGC. The exam will be conducted in over 31 Indian states and 8 abroad cities. The exam is administered in both online and offline modes and the duration of the test is 3 hours. The question paper is set in a bilingual format, i.e., in both English and Hindi languages.
