Aspirants of IAF candidates can apply for the application online by using the link of https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in/ or https://afcat.cdac.in/ . To apply for the AFCAT candidates should follow the below mentioned steps.
Candidates can only apply for once, the latest submitted application form against a particular Aadhar Number will be considered for the issue of Admit card.
How to apply
Registration
- In the first step candidates should have visited the official website of the AFCAT.
- Go through the ‘Candidate login’ on the homepage.
- On the next page, applicants click ‘Not yet registered? Register here’.
- Sign up: Creation of Log-In ID and applicant will receive a password in their registered email ID.
- After successful registration, sign-in with registered email ID and system generated password.
- Reset password- log out
- Login in again.
- Selection of Entry: ‘AFCAT’; “NCC SPECIAL ENTRY FOR FLYING BRANCH”.
- Click on “Instructions”. Read instructions carefully.
- Acknowledgement of having read and understood instructions- checkbox to proceed to the next stage.
Fill the application form
- Click on “Fill Application form” with the required information including, personal details, qualification details, course preference, communication details and click on “Save and Continue”.
Upload the documents
- Upload the recent photo, signature & thumb impression ( the size of each jpg/jpeg file to be between 10kb and 50kb).
- Sign up: Creation of Log-In ID and applicant will receive a password in their registered email ID.
- Select from the drop-down menu. And click on “Save and continue”.
Pay the application fee
- Candidates are required to pay the application fee after filling out the application form.
- The examination fee of Rs. 550/- +GST (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry paid to be online only.
- Click “Payment status” to view whether payment is successful. If the registration number is displayed, it implies that the payment is successful.
Note:
- While filling in the online application, the applicant must ensure that they meet all the eligibility conditions including the educational qualification which must conform to the guidelines/ norm of the relevant educational board/UGC.
