The Maharashtra state legislature and the 'University Grants Commission of India' have approved YCMOU to confer various academic honors such as certificates, diplomas, and degrees. All undergraduate and graduate degree programs are properly recognized and approved by the 'University Grant Commission (UGC)' in New Delhi. As a result, these programs are equivalent to those offered by any other statutory university in India for the purposes of employment and further education. The university offers various UG, PG, Research, Diploma and Certificate programs in various disciplines. Admission to YCMOU is based on students merit and eligibility.
