Vivekanand Global University (VGU) was established in 2012. The university provides Diploma, UG, PG and PhD courses in various fields of Law, International Trade and Commerce, Design, Management, Computer Science and Applications, Engineering & Technology, Basic & Applied Sciences and Architecture & Planning. These courses are offered in 7 constituent colleges of the university. 

The University conducts the national level entrance exam VGUCET for admission to its various UG, PG and Diploma programmes and to provide scholarships to meritorious and deserving candidates. VGUCET 2024 will be conducted across India and the examination will be conducted Online (Computer/ Mobile Based Test).

• Candidates who have passed HSC can apply for the UG and Diploma courses, whereas a Bachelor's degree is required for PG courses.
• The minimum requirement for a Diploma in Engineering is a pass in class 10th.
• A valid score in JEE Main/ Uni-Gauge is required for the B.Tech program.
• B.Sc (Agri.) admission is subject to a JET score.
• NATA or JEE Main (Paper-2) qualified candidates can apply for the B.Arch course.
• Admission to Integrated BA-LL.B and BBA-LL.B is offered based on CLAT or LSAT scores.
• Those students who have qualified in GATE can apply for the M.Tech program. For other PG courses, the PGAT is conducted by the university.
• CAT/ MAT/ XAT  qualified candidates can apply for an MBA program.
• Securing admission in Diploma programmes is based on the merit obtained in the qualifying exam.
• For admission to the PhD program, the candidates have to qualify in the VGU entrance test followed by an interview.

Vivekananda Global University B.Tech & B.Arch Admission 

VGU offers full-time B.Tech and B.Arch programs. The B.Tech program is 4 Years, and B.Arch is offered for 5 years. In the case of B.Tech, a valid JEE Main/Uni-Gauge or VGUCET score is mandatory. B.Arch admission is based on NATA OR JEE Main (Paper-2).

Vivekananda Global University UG Admission 

VGU offers undergraduate programs such as BBA, LL.B, B.Sc, B.Arch, B.Com, B.A and BCA in multiple disciplines. The duration of these programs is 3 years.

An entrance exam viz. Design Aptitude Test (DE-CODE) will be conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) offered in 4 specialisations. The Exam will be held online only.

• Paper 1:- Aptitude Test (60 min) - It will consist of multiple-choice questions based on Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
• Paper 2:- Creativity Test (120 min) - It will comprise subjective questions answered in visual (graphical representation) or written formats.

Vivekanand Global University PG Admission 

VGU offers postgraduate programs such as M.Tech, MBA, MA, M.Sc, M.Des, M.VA, MCA and LL.M. Candidates looking for PG courses should have completed a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.

• For professional courses like MBA, candidates must appear in CAT , CMAT , XAT or MAT , followed by a Group Discussion and Interview.
• Admission to the M.Tech program requires a good score in GATE.
• Admission to M.Sc and M.Des is done based on AIFSET/NEET.
• The university conducts its entrance test i.e. PGAT, to offer admission in other PG courses.

Vivekanand Global University (VGU) Ph.D. Admission

VGU offers a PhD program in 17 streams in full-time and part-time modes at the Doctoral level. A master's degree with a cumulative GPA of 55% is eligible for admission. Final admission is granted as per the entrance test conducted by the university, followed by an entrance test. Due weightage will also be given to candidates' academic record, work experience (if any) and statement of purpose (SOP).
