The government of Rajasthan established the University of Technology (UOT). The University of Technology is a private University recognised by UGC. The University has established 16 schools that offer UG, PG, and Integrated programs to the candidates. It also provides admissions to PhD programs in the faculties of Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Commerce & Management, Arts and Agriculture, and Law.
- For admission in UG courses at the University of Technology, the candidate should pass the 10+2 examination in the relevant stream from a recognised board.
- For PG courses, the candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree in the concerned or relevant subject from a UGC-recognized University or Institution.
- Those who apply for courses in M.Tech should obtain valid GATE scores to become eligible.
- For an MBA, candidates should have appeared in national-level entrance exams such as CAT , MAT , XAT , CMAT , and ATMA.
- Admissions to all UG and PG courses are made on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.

- Ph.D. admission is conveyed on the basis of candidates' performance in the Pre-Ph.D.- Entrance Exam conducted by the University.
- To seek research-level admission, candidates should have acquired a master's degree in a relevant or concerned discipline by securing a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
