Depending on the subject they want to take, students must pass one of the following entrance tests in order to be admitted to the American College.
- Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, or TNEA: Students wishing to enroll in undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech) are required to take part in the TNEA counseling procedure, which is determined by their grades from the 12th grade.
- GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering): applicants must pass the GATE exam to be considered for postgraduate engineering programs (M.E./M.Tech). The exam measures applicants' comprehension of undergraduate engineering courses.
- The National Eligibility Test, or NET, is required for Ph.D. programs : It evaluates a candidate's suitability for research and teaching roles at the university level in India.
- CAT/GMAT/XAT :The Common Admission Test (CAT) is India's most popular MBA entrance exam, used by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top business schools. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a global exam used for admission to MBA programs worldwide, including many top Indian business schools. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is another prominent Indian MBA entrance exam, conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, and accepted by numerous other institutions.

TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions)

- Log in using your registration number and password.
- Look for the Results or Rank List section.
- Enter the required details, such as your application number or registration number.
- Your result or rank list will be displayed. You can download and print it for future reference.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

- Log in using your enrollment ID/email address and password.
- Navigate to the Results section.
- Enter your examination details, such as your GATE registration number.
- Your result and scorecard will be displayed. You can download and print the scorecard for further use.
NET (National Eligibility Test)

- Click on the link for NET Exam Results.
- Log in with your application number and password/date of birth.
- Enter the necessary details, such as your roll number.
- Your result will be shown on the screen. Download and print the result for your records.
