Admission to Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) and selection process designed to ensure the selection process of candidates who demonstrate in both exam and eligibility for their chosen field.

Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) admission process has multiple steps including the application process, selection, merit, and final admission. Find below the step-wise admission process:
Step 1: Application Process:-
candidates must visit the admission website . The candidates are required to register online with the college, fill out the application form, and pay the requisite application fees. While filling out the application form, the candidate is required to provide all the information accurately.
Step 2: Merit list:-
As per the Institute-level schedule, the merit list of all eligible candidates for all rounds will be uploaded on the website. The provisional and final merit list of the eligible candidates will be displayed on the college website.
Step 3: Counseling
Candidates must also attend the online counseling process for admission
Step 4: Seat allocation
Confirmed candidates must submit original documents, and photocopies, and pay the fees mentioned in the fees section. Admitted candidates need to submit original documents, photocopies of all relevant documents, and course fees to confirm their admission.
Merit list preparation:-
- A merit list will be prepared for each program based on the aggregate scores of all four components of the selection criteria, with the reservation policy of the Institute.
- Individual selection intimation letters will be sent by email to all selected candidates.
- Waitlisted or denied candidates shall not receive any communication from the Institute. They must get in touch with the admission counselor and get an update.
- If a candidate is upgraded to the selected list, individual selection letters will be sent to the candidates.
Documents to be submitted during admission:
Candidates have to submit all originals alongwith one attested copy of the following documents:
1. Mark sheets and passing certificates of SSC, HSC & Bachelor's Degree (if received)
2. Entrance Test Scorecard
3. Work Experience Certificate, if any
4. Transfer Certificate / College Leaving Certificate
5. Character Certificate from competent authority
6. AICTE anti-ragging undertaking on 100/- stamp paper by student and parent
7. Copy of Aadhar card
8. Copy of Passport
9. Voter ID
If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has given wrong or misleading information with regards to KYC or Qualification, etc., his/her admission will be canceled.

- AICTE norms for admission cancellation and refund of fees.
-PGDM Institutions shall refund the fee collected, after deducting an amount of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) as processing fee and return the Certificates to the students withdrawing the admission before the last date of admission, irrespective of the reasons for withdrawal of admission.
