SVNIT Surat: Courses, Fees, Admission 2025, Placements, Ranking

• SVNIT has declared the list of provisionally eligible and ineligible candidates from different academic departments for admission to PhD programs for the Spring semester 2024-25. The written test, Interview and presentation for the shortlisted candidates is scheduled for Dec 12, 2024, and the document verification will be held on the same day. Except for the Department of Physics, the written test & interview will be held on Dec 11, 2024.
• JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exams will take place between January 22 and 31, 2025. The NTA will issue a City Intimation Slip in the first week of January followed by the issue of the admit card at the official website @jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• SVNIT released the list of newly admitted first year BTech students of OBC/EBC/DNT categories who are eligible for the 'PM YASASVI Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in College for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students'. Check out the list here:. The shortlisted candidates must fill in the application form under this scheme on the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in) by Nov 30, 2024. In addition, the relevant scholarship documents must be submitted at the Institute's Scholarship Section on or before Dec 5, 2024 for verification.
• GATE 2025 Exam Dates: GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. In addition, new paper combinations have been introduced for GATE 2025 exams. Eligible candidates can check the updated GATE paper combinations here or from the official website @gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

SVNIT Surat has a limited number of courses. The BTech, MTech, PhD and Integrated MSc degrees are given by SVNIT Surat. SVNIT Surat provides 8, 22 and 9 specializations in BTech, MTech and PhD. • SVNIT provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, technology, architecture, and planning. For B.Tech admissions, students should have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and meet eligibility criteria based on JEE Main rank.
• For postgraduate admissions, applicants should have completed their B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks, for SC/ST students it is 55%. Separate eligibility criteria are set for different PG programs; for example, Town and Regional Planning, for which the applicants should be BE/BTech in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
