Sabarmati University, located near Vaishno devi Circle in Ahmedabad, is Gujarat's first state-private dual-mode university focused on skill development and multidisciplinary education. The university was established in 2009 under Gujarat State Legislature Act No. 8, and was later revised with Act No. 20 in 2019. It is now recognised as a state private university. Sabarmati University has the authority provided by Section 22 of the UGC Act to administer, recognise, and confer degrees to students who have completed their normal courses on its main campus.

Sabarmati University: Courses and Fees Structure 2024

Sabarmati University, formerly known as Calorx Teachers' University, provides a variety of undergraduate degrees including BA, B.Ed, B.Com, BBA, BCA, LLB, and B.Sc, as well as graduate programmes such as MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, and MBA with several specializations. Additionally, the University offers three certificate courses and four diploma degrees. Doctoral-level courses include M.Phil and PHD. The application portal is open for all University courses.

Sabarmati University: Admission 2024

The online application is to be filled in by the candidates seeking admission to the Sabarmati University. For Undergraduate Programmes, the candidate has to secure marks above 50% in the 10+2 test. Similarly, applicants for postgraduate programs are required to have a bachelor's degree from the recognized universities. Applications to the MBA are required to have a minimum average of 50% from a recognized undergraduate degree from a university.  Master's degree in an affiliated discipline with at least 55 percent aggregate for the PhD program. A master's degree with marks NET/SLET/M.Phil., and in certain cases, even university conducted entrance test. Admission to postgraduate level in all courses is mainly merit-based. The candidate will then be called for a group discussion and further, an individual interview to understand his or her suitability for the programme.

• To apply for any UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma Courses, students must fill out and submit the application form available on Sabarmati University's official website https://sabarmatiuniversity.edu.in/.
• Candidates must complete all of the essential information and attach copies of the required documents (self attested), as mentioned in the application form.
• Candidates must pay for the application form with a check or DD made out to CALORX TEACHER' University and payable in Ahmedabad.

Sabarmati University's BBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed the HSC (10+2) from a recognised board, with any subjects.
• They should have obtained at least 55% aggregate marks in 10+2.

Selection Criteria:

For M.Phil.

For Ph.D.
