RK University was established in 2009. RKU is located in Rajkot, Gujarat. It is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). RKU is approved by AICTE. The University Grants Commission recognizes RKU. RKU aims to be a leading institution in imparting education to help students become responsible world citizens who are sensitive to the needs of others in their society. Ph.D. Programme
Eligibility- Prospective candidates must possess a post-graduate (Master’s) degree (full-time course from a UGC-recognized university or institute) or equivalent (as certified by a Government authority such as AICTE, UGC, or AIU) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA.

Training and Placement Cell assists the students in their endeavour to find suitable jobs. A full-time professor is in charge of the placement cell. The highest placement package was 9.28n lakhs.
