The Uttarakhand State Legislature established Quantum University through the Quantum University Act 2016 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. It is recognized by UGC and BCI. The university is also approved by PCI. It provides various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in the fields of Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Media Studies & Design, Commerce & Finance, Science, Humanities & Social Science, Agricultural Studies, Health Sciences and Hospitality & Tourism and Law. The university has 8 schools to provide higher education in different fields. Admission to Quantum University is entrance and merit based. The institute conducts a Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Test (Q-Care) & Quantum University Research Aptitude Test (QRAT) for UG and Ph.D. courses respectively. The campus of the university comprises aesthetically designed infrastructure including state-of-the-art internet and computer facilities, workshops, libraries, laboratories, seminar halls and many more facilities. Quantum University Admission 2025
Quantum University Admission 2025 is Season Open. Admission for the Entrance Cumulative Scholarship Exam (Q-Care) conducted by the university for qualifying students is also available. The university provides both the online and offline modes of application. Applicants may fill and submit the application form online or look for the form on the university's official website. Applicants may as well go to the University's premises / office and get the application form by paying DD for application charges.
Quantum University Scholarships 2025
Quantum University provides a range of scholarships to deserving candidates on the basis of merit in various examinations such as CUET, JEE Mains, Q-Care, and also Board Exams. Only one can a scholarship eligible candidate avails of at any given time. All the scholarships qua the institute are limited to the first year of study only.
Quantum University Placements
The University has published the placement figures on its official website irrespective of the year. Therefore, taking it into account for 2024. As provided in the details, the university campus witnessed the participation of 192 companies in the year 2024, out of which, 872 students got placed. The maximum package offered during the time of Quantum University placements 2024 was INR 33.50 LPA and the mean package was INR 7.20 LPA. Listed among the recruiters were Oracle, Adobe, Capgemini, and many more. Not only has the report of NIRF 2024 been prepared for engineering and management, but it has also been published. The report states that there were 148 placements for BTech students and 7 for MTech students in the previous year's drive. The average salary offered to BTech and MTech graduates was INR 4.60 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively. Also, August 2023 Non-Placeable Quantum University placements saw the placement of 21 students of MBA program at a median salary of INR 4.57 LPA.

Quantum University Facilities
A brief summary of some of the services provided by Quantum University is given below:
- Auditorium: It comprises a centrally air conditioned auditorium having a seating capacity of 550 students and modern facilities like combination of multimedia projector and sound systems. It is the place of action during events like a conference, a seminar or a placement drive or fun activities organized by the students during their annual days, sendoff parties etc.
- The other block accommodates a multipurpose hall for different co curricular activities.
- Seminar Halls: The institute has different number of seminar halls whose accommodation capacity ranges from 150 to about 170 students. Most of the time the seminar halls are used for hosting regular guest speakers and industry interactions.
- Library: The library is wealth of materials covering engineering, management, administration and other related fields. The library carries relevant to the industry reports, standards, journals, periodicals, newsletters, et al.
- Transportation Facilities: The campus has provision of buses for students, teaching and non-teaching staff residing in surrounding areas.
- Other Facilities: Some of the other facilities offered by Quantum University are, Sports facilities, Hostel, Mess & Cafeteria, Healthcare Facilities, and so on.
Conclusion
Quantum University is one of the newest educational institutions located in Uttarakhand which came into existence in the year 2016. It offers a variety of undergraduate programs in science, engineering, business but also graduate and doctoral programs in other fields as well. It is recognized by UGC and BCI Institutions, and PCI has approved it. It also seeks to provide quality education not only on theory but more of the application of that theory. Many certificates earned of which some are international of which most are earned in the fields of engineering and business education, along with the impressive statistics of placements with the presence of many top recruiting companies, highlights the importance it gives to the students' wellness. There are also modern amenities and a nurturing atmosphere. Not only does quantum University offer such a level of education but they also offer merit based scholarships to deserving students which is a plus for students who would like to improve on their academic and professional credentials, thus making the university a preferred one for quite a number of people.
