Oriental Institute of Management offers admission to postgraduate and PhD programs. Students who wish to enrol at the OIM are welcome from all over India. The admission is completely based on the merit list declared by the institute. Applicants have to make sure that they are fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the institute.

PG Admission

• Step 1- Candidate Registration- Aspiring candidates have to register themselves for the admission process on the official website of OIM- Oriental Institute of Management. After the registration candidate will get a unique application ID from the administration.
• Step 2- Submission of Online Application Form- Candidates need to submit the online application form with complete details and make sure to upload all the scanned copies of current documents through their login.
• Step 3- Payments of Requisite Fees- A certain amount of fee will appear on the screen. Candidates have to pay the requisite fee online through their login.
• Step 4- Print Application Form- Candidates are supposed to take a printout of their application form.
• Step 5- Documentation Verification- Candidates are supposed to complete their documentation verification and confirmation of the application form by online mode only. There is no compulsion to visit the institute physically as everything can be done in online mode.
• Step 6- Merit List Declaration- The State CET will announce the merit list concerning the schedule.
• Step 7- Grievances Submission- The State CET will provide a period for the submission of grievances, if any before displaying the final merit list.
• Step 8- Final Merit List Declaration- The State CET will generate the final merit list as per the decided schedule.

• Step 9- Online Preference Form Filling- Candidates must fill and confirm the option available online from having preferences of the institution before to respective rounds through their login.
• Step 10- Provisional Allotment Declaration- Provisional allotment of the institute of respective CAP Rounds will be displayed by the competent authority.
• Step 11- Acceptance of Offered Seat- Candidates will verify that the seat allotted to them in the CAP round 1 by accepting the declaration through their login. Candidates will also certify that their claim is related to qualifying marks, category, gender, reservation, specific reservation, and other details are correct or not.
• Step 12- Reporting to the Allotted Institute- After these formalities, candidates have to report to the allotted seat as per the final allotment in the CAP round.
• Step 13- Completion of Admission Formalities- Candidates have to submit all the original documents and have to pay the required amount of fees for the completion of their admission to the institute.

PhD Admission

• Candidates who are interested in the PhD program at OIM- Oriental Institute of Management must first complete the admission form.
• Please complete all the details according to the current information of the candidates and make sure to submit all the required documents to the admin office before the deadline for admission.
• Candidates who are shortlisted for admission will be called for an interview. The scheduled interview will be displayed on the notice board, and candidates will be informed via their email IDs that they have registered with the institution.
• Candidates who got selected in the interview process will be informed through the notice board as well as the email IDs that they have registered.
• Note that admission will only be confirmed after the payment of the desired fees.
• After the payment, applicable candidates will receive a letter of allotment of the research guide. The maximum time taken by the management to provide a letter of allotment is within a month after the submission of desired payment fees.

Application Process
