M.Tech, MBA, MSc, etc are the PG courses that Netaji Subhas University of Technology offers. GATE scores are accepted for M.Tech admissions, CAT for MBA, and CUET PG for MSc admissions. NSUT also conducts Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) during MBA admissions. The eligibility criteria for students who have graduated in engineering, technology, and management are different from those of science, humanities, and social science students. Candidates with valid GATE/UGC NET/JRF scores are exempted from appearing in the written test that NSUT conducts. The admissions and application process for Netaji Subhas University of Technology

The admissions at Netaji Subhas University of Technology involves the following steps:

  1. Filling of Application Form:If you meet the eligibility requirements of the course in which you want to apply for, visit the NSUT website and fill out the application form.
    • Enter your name, contact number, address, academic details, etc.
    • Upload the necessary documents.
    • For the selected course, pay the application fees.
  2. Appear in entrance test: If you have already appeared in the entrance test of the year for which you are applying to NSUT, then upload the entrance test score card PDF and marks while filling out the application form. In case you didn’t appear and NSUT conducts the entrance for that program, then appear in that entrance test.

  1. Written Test is conducted in online mode.
  2. The test will conduct for 2 hours.
  3. The test will include multiple-choice questions.
  4. For each correct answer, four marks are given and for every wrong answer, one mark is deducted.

PhD Admissions

NSUT also conducts a written test and an interview for PhD enrolled candidates. The details of the test are listed below:

  1. Those candidates who have scored 50% in the written test or have scored above the average of the top five candidates, will be called for the interview round. SC/ST/Physically Disabled candidates are given 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks.
  2. The written test is given 70% weightage and interview is given 30% weightage.
  3. The written test syllabus will include equally weighted questions that assess research, analytical, comprehension, quantitative aptitude, and subject-specific area. The admission exam will consist of a single question paper.
