MGM Medical College was started in January 1990. In the year 1996 MBBS course was recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi. The college was initially identified as having a hundred seats by MCI. However, after that, in the year 2011, the intake capacity of MBBS was enhanced from 100 to 150, which was recognized by MCI, New Delhi, in the year 2016.
