MEC Kochi was established in 1989 and is the first self-financing college established by the Government of Kerala. It is located in Thrikkakara, Kerala and is affiliated to Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT). MEC Kochi offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in different streams.

MEC Kochi B.Tech Admission 2025
MEC Kochi offers B.Tech in 4 specializations. The minimum application eligibility is 50% marks in the 10+2 examination from Kerala or any other equivalent board. Physics and Mathematics are the mandatory subjects at the 10+2 level. Admissions are based on KEAM conducted by Govt. of Kerala. MEC Kochi M.Tech Admission 2025
MEC Kochi offers M.Tech in 5 specializations. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from any university recognized by the Central or State Government to be eligible for admission. Applicants must score at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in the degree examination. Candidates will be selected by obtaining a valid score in GATE. Admission is confirmed only after completing all the important processes, including document verification and payment of the required fee amount.
