In 2012, Maharaja Surajmal Brij University was established, in the budget session with the announcement made by the Honorable Chief Minister. Through Brij University, Bharatpur Act, 2012 the university started functioning. Through its eight departments MSBU offers admission to UG, PG and doctorate programs.
