Lalit Narayan Mithila University was founded in 1972, Originally called Mithila University, and has UGC approval. The NAAC has awarded LNMU a B++ grade for accreditation. The long-held aspiration of the Mithila community led to the establishment of Lalit Narayan Mithila University in Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga. Prominent academicians who have voiced support for the construction of a modern university in Darbhanga include Dr. Amarnath Jha, Dr. R. C. Mazumdar, Dr. A. S. Altekar, Dr. Sunil Kumar Chatterjee, and numerous more. On the state legislature's and parliament's floors, the call to establish a university was repeatedly made. The Mithila University Committee was established on January 27, 1947 (Vasant Panchami Day), at a meeting of some of the prominent residents of Darbhanga and Laheriasarai. This came after the late Prof. Binodanand Jha, who was then the Health and L. S. G. Minister, Government of Bihar, visited Darbhanga.

• Go to http://test.bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in/index, the official website.

• You will receive an OTP on your phone. For verification, enter the same.
• Add supporting documentation, such as full-length signatures, colored photos, and your left thumb impression. Every picture needs to be between 20 and 50 kb.
• You should be able to use the login information that was sent to you via email or SMS after uploading the pictures.
• Enter your name, parents' names, residence, gender, family income, nationality, date of birth, and, if relevant, your caste certificate to begin filling out the form.
• Choose your government ID proof, ID proof number, whether you are a Freedom Fighter ward, and any identity marks you may have in the generic part. Keep these facts handy.
• Enter your address line, district, pin, and state next in the address section. Remember the specifics. Board, year of passing, grades, mark sheet number for class 10, class 12, graduation, and post-graduation must all be entered in the qualification area. Choose the degree and upload the grade report.
• Accept the declaration, then send in the form.
• Make the payment online as the last step.
