Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarag known as IGIT Sarang based in Dhenkanal, established in the year of 1982 as a premier institute and managed by government of Orissa.it is also one of the premier and well known institutions in India.it is affiliated to BPUT, Rourkela.it is approved by AICTE new delhi.Also, it is an autonomous college.

The College offers programs like UG,PG,PhD and Diploma programs. For these programs it offers different courses which include BTech, BArch, MSc,MCA, MTech level etc in various levels and in various departments. Every year, it offers around 600+ seats for eligible students.The college provides Facilities like Auditoriums, Hostels, canteens, labs for every department , Gym, sports complex , library full of available books and many others.

Application fee for general category is around 500/- INR and 250/- for reservation students.

The eligibility Criteria will differ for various programs.

Under UG program, for courses like BTech,BArch, it requires candidates with a minimum of 45%-40% aggregate in a 10+2 equivalent higher qualifying exam recognised by related boards with relevant subjects and a valid JEE mains/OJEE score.
