IISWBM, also known as the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, is one of the premier institutes for management education in India. Established in 1953 in Kolkata, it remains one of the oldest in the country. It had the distinction of being the first institute in India to start a full-time MBA program and was indeed a pioneer in the field of management education. Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management - : Admissions and Application Process 2025

The institute accepts applications from eligible candidates through online as well as offline mode. One can visit the official website to fill the application form and pay the application fee through Debit/ Credit Card or Netbanking. The candidate can purchase the form by paying the requisite application fee at IISWBM, Management House, Kolkata 700073 to submit the same in offline mode. In this case, the form is available online, and a student can download the form and then submit it in the Institute. While submitting the application form, submit/scan all the applicable documents with the application form. The selection criteria of every course differ from one another, and the institute selects students according to the respective criterion. For MBA - PS, one must have a valid CAT / MAT / CMAT / JEMAT / GATE / GMAT / ATMA score.

Admission to MBA (Day) and MBA HRM is made through CAT / GMAT score whereas for MBA (Evening), CAT / XAT / MAT / JEMAT / ATMA score.

Admission to PG Diploma in Sports Management can be taken through a written test conducted at the Institute's level.
