Established in the academic year 2015-16, the Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow is one of the leading colleges in Uttar Pradesh. In the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, the Central Government establishes 20 IIITs, including IIIT Lucknow. A total of 50 students were accepted into IIIT Lucknow's inaugural batch of B. Tech. students in information technology for the 2015-16 academic year. It currently provides its students with all the educational and non-academic facilities they need to thrive and serve the country in their technological concerns. Candidates who pass the JEE (Mains) exam get admitted through central counselling.
The Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow offers a total of 4 UG, 3 PG, and PhD curriculums.
