I.K. Gujral Originally founded in 1977 under the name Punjab Technical University, the institution changed its name in 2015 to honor former Indian Prime Minister Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral. As part of partnerships, the center also provides IT services to several government agencies. Both boys' and girls' accommodations are available at IKGPTU. The hostel provides students with a clean, safe, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere. On campus, there are two dorms for female students and three dorms for boys that are both within walking distance of the academic building.
