Himalayan University Itanagar is a state-level private university that was developed by the Jean Foundation and sanctioned by the UGC. It was established in 2013. Numerous courses in key fields are available at the university. Both full-time and distance learning options are available for all of these courses.

All courses have an offline application process. Applicants should take the actions listed below:

  • Go to the university's official webpage.
  • On the homepage, select the download application form option.
  • Complete the form appropriately.
  • After that, the form has to be emailed to the specified addresses.
  • The form must be sent with all pertinent photos and papers.

Is registration for the CUET exam open?

The final week of February 2025 will mark the start of registration for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025. The CUET 2025 notification will be issued by NTA. The CUET registration 2025 procedure will start online at cuetug-ac.ntaonline.in shortly after the announcement is released. Applicants who wish to sit for the CUET 2025 exam must make sure they complete the online application. The first week of April 2025 will mark the end of CUET 2025 registration. Candidates will not be allowed to complete the CUET application form beyond the deadline. We won't consider any requests to extend CUET registration over the deadline.

Can I get admission to Himalayan University with 60% in Class 12th?

Yes, if you received a 60% in your 12th grade, you can be admitted to Himalayan University. The prerequisite for entrance is passing the 12th grade or an equivalent test with at least 45% of the possible points in the open category and 40% in the reserved category.

When is the deadline for Himalayan University's B.Tech applications?

Can I take lateral entry admission to B.Tech in Civil Engineering at Himalayan University?

Yes, lateral entry admission straight to the second year of the BTech in Civil Engineering program is available at Himalayan University. Three years are allotted for the BTech in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) program. Candidates may enroll in the university's lateral entry program if they have completed a three-year diploma program in civil engineering. For applicants to the BTech in Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) program, the university may also have minimum and maximum age requirements.
