Important Note

Gulbarga University Scholarships

The Gulbarga University offers numerous scholarships to meritorious, financially needy, and minority students. The scholarships are provided by the university to let students complete their academics without worrying about the financial burden. The university pays INR 600 / pm to every SC/ST student for boarding & lodging. Out of which, the Social Welfare Department reimburses INR 510.

PhD students who belong to the SC/ST caste receive INR 2,200/pm for 3 years as financial assistance. These students also get an annual contingency grant of INR 2,500. Whereas M.Phil students receive an anoint of INR 2,000/pm with the same annual grant of INR 2,500.

First class toppers (SC/ST students) in the final year of UG, PG, or M.Phil programmes receive a cash prize of INR 1,000.
