East Point Group of Institutions is a prominent institution established in East Bangalore. The organisation was started as a primary school institution in 1998, and other engineering discipline was established parallel to the school in 1999. East Point Group of Institutions started its journey with the first batch of 16 students, which ultimately became a fully-fledged school within a few years and got recognition by the Government of Karnataka.

EPGI Admission to the flagship M.Tech program is based on the GATE or KMAT exams. EPGI accepts applications for undergraduate, graduate, and diploma programs in a variety of areas, including engineering, medicine, pharmacy, and management.

Admission to BBA requires a grade point average of at least 40% in 10+2 in any stream.

For admission to B.Tech, candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Computer Science as a compulsory subject, as well as valid COMEDK UGET or KCET scores.

For admission to the MBA program, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with at least a 50% GPA and a valid KPGCET score.

Admissions forms are commenced every after the result announcement of board exams. Undergraduate program admissions are available from July to October. During this period, students must fill out online/offline forms with valid documents, after which the management team provides merit-based admissions.

Hostel facilities are available in the campus area. Hostel rules are strictly followed, and attendance is taken four times daily. The hostel provides well-furnished rooms with tasty food. Hostels provide better mess service for both veg and non-veg students separately. Boys and girls are separated and maintained accordingly. Hostel fees are divided into parts - Hostel room fees and mess fees. Also, 5% GST is applied according to taxation laws. Rooms are rented based on individual choice.
