Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is a state-level university, which was also known as Marathwada University, located in Aurangabad in Maharashtra. The university is recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission). The university is accredited with an A grade by the NAAC. The university offers various courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields of specialization such as arts, science, engineering, and management, among many others offered at the university. Entry into these courses is normally through admission tests like MHT-CET for a B.Tech degree, MAH MBA-CET for an MBA, and PET test for Ph.D. programs, respectively. More than 420 campuses are affiliated with the university, which are situated in four districts. The BAMU begins the admission process in the month of July-August each year. BAMU has a good placement cell that is involved in career counseling activities, workshops, seminars, and mock interviews for final-year students. BAMU Scholarships
- A S.S.T. type of scholarship is provided to a son, daughter, or ward whose parent is a secondary school teacher.
- The university has made provision for scholarships for sons, daughters, and wards of ex-servicemen, as well as those who fought for freedom.
- The Government of India provides scholarships to students from reserved categories, which are generally called Government of India scholarships.
