DBIT Mumbai BE Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

Must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory) as well as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, and Business Studies with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved categories in Maharashtra State). The candidate must have appeared in all of the subjects in CET and obtained a non-zero score in the CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

OR

Must have graduated Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of restricted groups in Maharashtra State).

DBIT Mumbai BE Selection Criteria

Admission will be based on the candidate's MHT CET or JEE Main score. Candidates can sign up for the counseling procedure after the declaration of the result. Candidates will be called for the JEE Main counseling procedure as per their rank obtained in the merit list.

DBIT Mumbai BE (Lateral) Eligibility Criteria 2025-26

Must have passed a minimum of three or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of Reserved categories) in any area of engineering/technology from an AICTE or Central or State Government accredited institution or its equivalent.

OR

Must have passed BSc Degree with at least 45% marks (40% in case of Reserved groups) and passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject.

OR

Passed DVoc Stream in the same or related sector

DBIT Mumbai's BE (Lateral) selection criteria

Admission to the BE (Lateral) program will be determined on the basis of merit. The merit list will be established based on the candidate's marks achieved, and the examination authority will issue the Diploma/Degree accordingly. In the event of a tie, the relative merit of the various candidates will be resolved in the following order of preference:

  1. Increased proportion of marks in SSC
  2. Higher proportion of marks in mathematics at SSC.
  3. Higher percentage of marks in science at SSC.
  4. Higher percentage of English marks at SSC.
