DAV University, a private institution in Jalandhar, Punjab, was established in 2013 under the DAV Trust and offers a range of undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral programs in fields such as Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Education, Science, Computer Applications, and Management. Besides, DAV University also delivers B.Tech (Regular) and B.Tech (Lateral) at the undergraduate level in different fields. Passed 10+2 level or equivalent in with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics candidates are eligible to apply for DAV university. Whereas, Candidates must have passed Diploma or B.Sc, in order to meet the eligibility criteria for B.Tech Lateral entry.
Admission shall be made to the B. Tech program through either JEE Main or DAVUET. The aggregate of the marks obtained in an examination shall form the basis of a merit list prepared. Finally, admission would be on the basis of Counseling conducted by the University itself.

DAV University offers M.Tech degree at PG level for two years for regular students and three years for under part-time mode. DAV University, Jalandhar Ph.D course 2024
Students who wish to pursue higher studies in research can opt for full-time and part-time Ph.D. programmes. For entrance into the Ph.D. program, candidates have to undergo an entrance exam conducted by the university, which later involves Interview and Presentation rounds. Candidates qualified in UGC NET/UGC CSIR (JRF)/SLET/GATE/ Fellowship Holders or M. Phil degree holders are eligible for admission directly. Only such students will be required to attend the interview round.
