Admission to CT University is determined by a candidate's merit and results on their entrance exam. prior to being accepted into one of CT University's courses. The candidates must confirm that they meet the requirements for eligibility. The eligibility and selection criteria for courses offered by CT University are tabulated below, according to course:

| Bachelor of Technology (Computer Science & Engineering) | Obtained a minimum of 50% of the possible points in the following subjects: Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, and Entrepreneurship. OR passed a minimum three-year diploma test with a minimum of 45% of the possible points (40% for candidates from reserved categories), subject to first-year vacancies in the event that lateral entrance vacancies are filled. (The universities will provide appropriate bridge courses, such engineering drawing, physics, and mathematics, to students from a variety of backgrounds in order to prepare them for the program's desired learning outcomes and level playing field.) |

Pharm program lowered from 55% to 50%. |
