Irinjalakuda's Christ College was established in 1956. Situated in Kerala's Thrissur, it is associated with the University of Calicut. The Christ College placement cell is vital to the college's undergraduate and graduate students' job search since it keeps in touch with respectable companies and industrial facilities. The placement cell helps match employers with competent graduates and is open year-round. The number of students hired following interviews on campus is consistently rising. On invitation, many respectable industries visit the institute to interview and find qualified people. Off-campus recruitment initiatives are also supported by the cell.
The Christ College Placement Cell offers career advising programs to all students, including first-year students. The cell organizes training programs such as communication skills workshops, group discussions, mock interviews, and more for students who want to work in government. Additionally, it provides preparation for the UPSC, PSC, and SSA public sector exams. It also extends an invitation to HR managers from other companies to provide training sessions for senior-year students.
There are various objectives based on which the Christ College placement cell works, such as -
