Bangabasi College based in Kolkata, established in the year of 1887 under private management and the inspiration of Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar.it is one of the premier Arts colleges of West Bengal.it is approved by AICTE new Delhi .it is affiliated to Calcutta University. It is also certified by NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL(NAAC). The College offers programs like UG and PG programs. For these programs it offers different courses which include BA, BSc, MSc, BCom etc. in various levels and in various departments. Every year, it offers around 700+ seats for eligible students. The college provides Facilities like classrooms and auditoriums, Hostels, canteens, labs for every department , Gym, sports complex , library full of available books and many others.
