AIFD Bangalore provides a four-year B.Sc. programme in Fashion & Apparel Design and Interior Design & Decoration. Admission to AIFD is dependent on the WAT (Written Admission Test). ESSA Scholarships

Eligibility requirements for ESSA Scholarships

  • Children of serving Army personnel who are under the age of 25 at the time of completing a class/course from grade IX to PG level of education at a government or recognised private educational institution.
  • Wards of retired army personnel, territorial army personnel (TA), and deceased army personnel are ineligible.

PM Scholarships

The Prime Minister's Scholarship Programme was established for the 2006-07 academic year. To help dependent wards of former Coast Guard and service members, as well as their widows, pursue higher technical and professional education (below officer level only). A total of 5500 students will be picked evenly for males and girls (i.e., 2750 each).

Eligibility for the PM Scholarship

  • Students in the second and subsequent years are not eligible.
