The university covers numerous disciplines of study and also offers a broad spectrum of courses.The Tamil Nadu Admissions in Professional Education Institutions Act 2006 (TN Act No 3 of 2007) provides access to professional courses. Admission is granted on the basis of merit, adhering to the reservation policy of the Tamil Nadu State Government. 

The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and some diploma courses. The details of each course are found under the respective faculty. To apply, students need to register online and then send a hardcopy of their application to the university.

How to Apply

1. Enter the Annamalai University official registration portal.
2. Select the course you wish to apply for and click the New Applicant option. 
3. Enter your qualifying exam details (10th, 12th, or Diploma) including the Register Number, Month, and Year.
4. Fill in your personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number, Nativity, Community, E-Mail ID, and Password, then submit the form.
5. Log in via the username and password by choosing REGISTERED APPLICANT link. 
6. Enter all personal as well as education details and submit. 
7. A photograph should also be uploaded (Width: 150px, Height: 150px) in .JPEG format (JPG, JPEG, JPE, GIF).
8. Click the Click to verify Application button to confirm your information. You will see a preview of your application in PDF format.
9. To continue with the payment, check the inputs and click the Submit for Payment button.
10. Use the payment gateway to make the required online payment.
11. Send the printed application form along with all necessary annexures by Speed Post / Registered Post or deliver it in person to the specified address.

Annamalai University B.Ed, M.Ed Admission 

Annamalai University offers B.Ed and M.Ed programs through its Department of Education, which is part of the Faculty of Education. The duration of both programs is two years, B.Ed is offered in English and Tamil, M.Ed is only conducted in English. B.Ed eligibility requires candidates to possess a graduate degree, with admission being offered on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying UG or PG degree. For the M.Ed program, candidates require a B.Ed degree with at least 50% marks. Admission to the M.Ed program is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree, a selection test, and an interview. Applications can be submitted online via the Annamalai University website. For M.Ed applicants, a demand draft of INR 1000 (or INR 500 for SC/ST candidates) must be attached, made out to The Registrar, Annamalai University, payable at Chennai. Annamalai University BPEd, MPEd Admission 

Annamalai University offers B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed programs through its Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the Faculty of Education. Both programs last for two years and follow a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with four semesters.

For the B.P.Ed program, 100 students will be admitted based on their performance in a selection test, with a minimum score of 50%. The selection is based on a total of 150 marks, which are divided as follows: 20 marks for the qualifying examination, 25 marks for sports and games participation, 50 marks for a games and sports skill test, 50 marks for a track and field skill test, and 5 bonus marks for having a basic degree in Physical Education.

For the M.P.Ed program, 40 students will be selected based on their test scores, with a minimum of 50%. The selection process also uses a total of 150 marks: 25 marks for the qualifying examination, 25 marks for sports and games participation, 50 marks for a games and sports skill test, 35 marks for a written test, and 15 marks for a personal interview.

Annamalai University MBA, MCA Admission

Annamalai University's several faculties, which include Science, Education, Arts, and Indian Languages, provide a range of postgraduate degrees, including MA, M.Sc., MBA, and MCA. All full-time postgraduate courses are two years long, with the exception of the three-year MCA program.

Annamalai University ME, M.Tech Admission

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology at Annamalai University offers ME and M.Tech programs in various disciplines. These programs have a duration of two years with four semesters for full-time students and three years with six semesters for part-time students.

To be eligible for the ME/M.Tech programs, candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree from Annamalai University or an equivalent recognized university. Admission is based on merit from the qualifying degree, an entrance examination, and an interview.

Annamalai University MPT, M.Sc (Nursing) Admission 

The Faculty of Medicine at Annamalai University offers MPT (Master of Physiotherapy) and M.Sc Nursing programs, each lasting two years. The MPT program is conducted by Rajah Muthiah Medical College, while the M.Sc Nursing program is offered by Rani Meyyammai College of Nursing. The Pharm.D course, which is recognized by the Medical Council of India, is available through the Department of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology.

A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree is a prerequisite for consideration in the MPT program. Candidates will be chosen through an entrance exam and an interview. A B.Sc. in Nursing with Honors is required for admission to the M.Sc. in Nursing program. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree. Admission is based on qualifying examination merit. The Pharm.D program requires a 10+2 qualification, with admission based on merit in the qualifying degree.

Annamalai University Integrated Course Admission 2024

Annamalai University provides Bachelor-Masters Integrated programs across various faculties, including Arts, Science, Education, and Marine Sciences. The program lasts five years and is taught in English. It is available under various names such as MA, M.Com, and M.Sc.
