The only factor used to determine admission to undergraduate programs is the grade point average from the Higher Secondary exams. The TAMIL NADU ENGINEERING ADMISSION (TNEA) website and all of the major news outlets disseminate the admission notice. Students are admitted to all programs using the Anna University-managed Single Window Admission System. The merit list and positions are announced when the higher secondary marks are scaled to 200. Counselling is done according to the rating.

Full Time PG Admission Process:

Candidates must either have a current CEETA score from Anna University or a valid GATE score that qualifies them for an assistantship in a suitable engineering or technology subject. Application forms can be obtained online from the Centre for Admission (CFA) website. Rank lists based upon the CEAP (GATE and/or CEETA) are hence released and counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.
