The types of questions that will be asked in the IAT 2025 examination are shown in the IISER Entrance Exam 2025 exam format. Throughout the course of three hours, exam administrators will use multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to assess applicants' subject knowledge. For each accurate response they mark during the exam, applicants will receive +4 marks. Exam officials will deduct one score for each incorrect response. Marking Scheme
The marking scheme for IAT 2024 varies based on the type of questions.
- For every correct response, 4 marks will be provided.
- One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The best part is that it is not necessary to attempt all the sections. You can attempt any of the sections of your choice. Maths & Bio is not necessary.
The total marks obtained by a candidate out of 240 will be considered for preparing the Rank List.
