The UGC NET 2025 exam will only be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) format, with many shifts planned in accordance with the Information Bulletin's designated time windows. This mode guarantees the examination process's effectiveness and impartiality.
Two papers, Paper I and Paper II, include multiple-choice (MCQ) questions of the objective kind. Paper I evaluates research and teaching aptitude, emphasizing skills like general awareness, understanding, pergent thinking, and reasoning ability.
Paper II is subject-specific and covers in-depth material associated with the candidate's area of study. The two papers are consecutive, which is significant since it promotes a continuous assessment structure.
