Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test - exam_application_process

1. Anna University conducted the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission into various MBA and MCA courses offered by various colleges in Tamil Nadu. More than 200 colleges accept TANCET scores for admission in PG programs.
2. This exam is conducted only in offline mode, once in a year. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year of examination of the said qualifying degree course during Academic year 2024-2025 may also apply for TANCET/CEETA-PG 2025.
3. Other state candidates can also appear for the entrance test, but the eligibility criteria conditions will be stipulated by the admitting authority/ University.

How to apply

Candidates can register online only by filling-up the application and submitting the same along with good quality recently taken photographs.

Step 1: Online registration: Candidates must register online via the official website of the University by using basic information, which includes their name, gender, date of birth, email ID, and password.

Step 2: Fill out Application form: candidate must have to login in to website by using email ID and password. They have to provide details such as the TANCET entrance test, personal information, address and academic background.

Step 3: Upload Photograph: Candidates have to upload the scanned photograph (20kb to 30kb) .

Step 4: Pay Application fee: the application fee is to be paid only through net banking or a debit/ credit card.

Step 5: Submit online application form: Candidates have to verify the information filled on the TANCET application form, and after verifying they have to submit it and take two printouts of the same.
